Hey there!!
Welcome to my interior design blog. I am really excited to share with you the ideas that I run across, read about or come up with in my frollics worldwide. I am thrilled you are here!! I am fairly new online and really having fun learning all about technology and having an online presence, which is a new passion of mine. I have been an interior designer and an interior design consultant for almost 30 years and I am currently reinventing myself, expanding my horizons, so I can be more of my fullest potential!!
I have loved traveling the world, finding wonderful accessories and furnishings for my clients and just completely loving my life!! I just returned from Isreal, which was a dream come true, and I went to Fiji last year to visit a client’s resort home on one of the amazingly beautiful islands there. You can see a video of this project in my portfolio on this site. I learned how much I value freedom, people and the American way. I also learned there is a time to rest, work and play. Everyday we have the opportunity to have a great adventure, meet wonderful people and my passion is to help them have the most wonderful lifestyle by helping them move forward to creating interiors as amazing as they are! Now that is a great job!!!

Interior Design Ideas – Color Schemes Types – What Are They and How Do I Choose One?
Posted by: | CommentsColor schemes are based on the color wheel. There are so many hues available and so many choices that it makes it hard to establish just one. There are millions of colors, but interior designers generally only use three to five hues for a scheme, plus two to three accent hues that are used in dashes here and there only. The main colors can vary by using tints, tones, and shades in different intensities for variety. For the types of color schemes we will discuss we will be using three to five hues. Let us explore the different types of schemes and perhaps that will help you to start by choosing a type of scheme that you like best.
You may want to view a color wheel while you read this article: Also note that white, grey, beige, taupe and black are considered neutrals and will not be included in the scheme. Some people use all neutrals and just splash the project with the hues they choose in their scheme. That is a beautiful look.
